Unemployment rate holds steady in Vermont

Vermont’s unemployment rate was steady last month at 3.6 percent. The national rate was 5.6 percent. The state Department of Employment and Training released the April unemployment rates on Thursday. Officials say construction jobs grew in April. The health care and social assistance industries also added jobs.
