Officials say the dedication of 20 new housing units in downtown Burlington is another milestone in a six-year effort to revitalize the location.
All but three of the apartments in the four-story building on King Street are considered "permanently affordable."
The $10 million project was spearheaded by the Champlain Housing Trust. The building was dedicated on Saturday.
In addition to the apartments, there are two commercial spaces and the headquarters of the Champlain Trust.
The trust manages 1,500 apartments in Chittenden, Franklin and Grand Isle counties. It also runs programs that help people purchase homes and avoid foreclosure.
