Tropical bio-dome planned for Bennington

A group of plant experts is planning a tropical plant conservatory in Bennington for students to see and study the rainforest. The New England Tropical Conservatory is planned to include a 7,000-square-foot bio-dome, a research and education center, laboratories, and classroom space. An officer says the group wants to educate Vermonters about their connection to the tropical plants that grow thousands of miles away.
