More than a foot of snow is being forecast across much of northern New England as the second storm in two days pushes into the region.
Snow is developing this morning across Vermont, Maine and New Hampshire after a smaller storm dropped a few inches across the region yesterday.
And that means there are many school closings this morning. School closings in all counties in Vermont, and in adjacent counties in New York and New Hampshire.
Many businesses and government offices have also announced cancellations for today, so this reminder to check first before heading out this morning.
The Vermont Agency of Transporation is also reporting difficult driving conditions throughout the state. Road crews are out, but please do use caution if you have to travel this morning.
The National Weather Service says the snow will be heavy at times, falling at a rate of 1 to 2 inches per hour.
