Town clerk works from home

Ruth Miller’s commute to work has gotten a lot shorter. The new North Hero town clerk just has to walk into her basement. Miller has housed the North Hero town offices in basement since 2002 when the community hall was declared unsound. On Tuesday she was elected as town clerk, beating three other candidates for the job.
