The Vermont Telecommunications Authority is looking for creative ways to expand broadband computer service to the underserved corners of the state.

The Vermont Legislature appropriated $200,000 to fund broadband grants.

The grants can be awarded to municipalities, telecommunication infrastructure developers and service providers.

The grants will be targeted at communities or areas that do not currently have broadband service, or have limited access to broadband services.
