A teenager has been charged with holding an underaged drinking party at his grandparents’ house before a partygoer allegedly fled from police and caused a fatal crash.

Eighteen-year-old Justin Kirk was charged yesterday with unlawful trespass, aggravated operation without consent and enabling minors to consume alcohol.

Police say people fled the early morning party on Oct. 4 after Kirk had an accident with his grandparents’ car.

Twenty-eight-year-old Michael Lewis of Burlington is accused of causing a crash that killed two passengers while fleeing police.

Police say Lewis had been drinking and using the drug Ecstasy and ignored pleas from passengers to stop the car before it crashed head-on into another vehicle.
