A Vermont prosecutor says a former nurse accused of killing her baby grandson won’t be charged in the deaths of her parents, whose deaths came under scrutiny after she was charged in the infant’s death.

Lamoille County State’s Attorney Joel Page tells the Burlington Free Press that the probe into the death of Pamela Raymond’s parents in 2008 found no basis for any prosecution.

Raymond, of Morristown, is facing charges in the Sept. 13 death of 3-month-old Warren Bailey, who overdosed on an anti-depressant. She has pleaded not guilty.

Vermont State Police began the investigation into Raymond’s parents’ deaths because each had been under her care when they died, about five months apart.
