Today we conclude our Summer School series. In past weeks we’ve learned a lot: how to milk a cow, throw a curve ball, start a fire, run a 5K, and more.
And now, how to repair a flat tire on a bicycle. It’s a skill that comes in handy when you’re a long way from anywhere and your tire goes flat – assuming you had the foresight to bring along a tire repair kit and a hand pump.
Harris Bucklin is bike mechanic at the Old Spokes Home in Burlington. He’s our summer school teacher for today’s lesson.
