The state of Vermont is holding another tag sale to get rid of office equipment and furniture that’s been removed from the Waterbury State Office Complex prior to rebuilding.

Vermont schools, towns, cities and nonprofit groups are encouraged to take advantage of today’s sale.

A similar sale was held earlier this summer. Officials say the state has since replenished its supply of surplus furnishings.

State officials aim to have all surplus inventory out of the complex by the end of August so that work can start on buildings that were flooded by Tropical Storm Irene.

Today’s sale runs from 8:00 this morning to 4:00  this afternoon. It will be held at the Old Laundry Building, in Waterbury.
