One of the owners of Killington ski resort says cancelled plans for a ski village won’t be resurrected until the company sees more activity by the town.

Steve Selbo is president of S-P Land Company, which bought Killington last year along with Powdr Corporation. He says several initiatives, including a study examining the economic impact of a ski village, must be worked out before his company decides to go ahead with the project.

SP Land Co. told the Killington Planning Commission last week it won’t seek an extension of its planned unit development application for the village, which was approved in 2000 and then renewed in 2004 by the resort’s previous owner, the American Skiing Co.
