Governor Peter Shumlin is marking the anniversary of Tropical Storm Irene with a four-day tour of towns hurt by flooding from the storm.

During his tour, which kicked off Saturday, Shumlin is visiting many of the communities that were devastated by the storm.

He’s presenting town officials with "I Am Vermont Strong" license plates, which are being sold to raise money to help Vermonters hurt by the storm.
