(Host) Anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan has cancelled a scheduled visit to Vermont this weekend.
Organizers say Sheehan received a last minute invitation to meet with Iraqi parliamentarians in Jordan.
Sheehan attracted national attention when she staged a protest by camping outside the Texas ranch of President Bush.
Her son, Casey, was killed in the war in Iraq.
Organizers say Sunday’s events will still take place at 10’clock at the Brattleboro Common and 7 o’clock that evening at the Unitarian Church in Montpelier.
