Another student has been acquitted in the Hanover High School cheating scandal.

A Lebanon District Court judge this week found Nicholas Kenyon of Norwich, not guilty of being an accomplice to theft. The judge gave the same reason he had in acquitting another student five weeks ago, saying statements both young men gave in interviews with police were not corroborated by others.

The two acquitted students were among 10 charged last summer in connection with the theft of final exams from the school. Two others were found guilty at trial and have appealed to the state Supreme Court, four have pleaded guilty or no contest, one will go to trial next month and the 10th case involves a juvenile and is being handled in family court.
