School assessments to be released next month

Schools that might face corrective action under the federal No Child Left Behind Act will have to wait a few weeks to find out how they fared on recent assessments. Education Department officials are combining assessment results from last year and this year to determine which schools still need improvement. The state Education Department is releasing that list of schools around the middle of next month.
