U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders wants to place limits on credit card companies’ practices he says feature tactics "that border on criminality."

The Vermont senator says he’s got a booklet filled with examples from consumers who say they have been subject to abuse from credit card companies.

Sanders, an independent, says the book contains 1,000 comments from consumers nationwide.

That booklet is getting distributed to Sanders’ colleagues in Washington as he pushes for limits on the companies, including capping the interest rates on consumer loans at 15 percent.
