(Host) Robert Caulfield is one of Vermont’s most successful landscape artists. But the path he took to opening his Woodstock studio and gallery was unusual. For 35 years, Caulfield worked for a utility company while raising a family. But he never abandoned his dream of becoming a professional artist.
Finally, at the age of 55, Caulfield took early retirement and risked his life savings to open a gallery. Twenty-five years later, his paintings now hang in public and private collections around the world. Robert Caulfield tells his own story in the new autobiography, “Ruggles Street,” co-written with his son Craig.
