Like many other communities in Vermont, the small city of Vergennes is dealing with the issue of drug abuse. But Vergennes has decided to band together to do something about it.
Recently, the city’s police chief George Merkel organized a forum to talk about the issue. Reporter Andy Kirkaldy of the Addison Independent covered the event and he speaks with VPR’s Peter Biello.
