A Quechee man has been charged with murder in the shooting death of a South Royalton teenager.

Twenty-three-year old Thomas Day is accused of shooting and killing 18-year-old Cory Manley at a Quechee residence last night.

Police said they received a 911 call from a relative of Manley’s reporting the shooting.

Manley, who was shot in the chest, was taken by ambulance to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

In court today, Day pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder and was being held for lack of $150,000 bail.
