Public Safety Commissioner says drug enforcement, education are priorities

Earlier this month, Governor Jim Douglas swore in Tom Tremblay as the state’s new public safety commissioner. In that position, Tremblay is responsible for overseeing all public safety officials in the state, including police departments.

It’s an area he knows well. He’s been a member of the Burlington Police Department for over 20 years and spent his last few as captain.
