Prisoner Charged With Drug Possession

A prison inmate in Springfield has been charged with possessing heroin and cocaine. Police say 34-year-old Edward Kendall was found on July 16th with 23 baggies of heroin and a crack cocaine rock. He was being held at the Southern State Correctional Facility on unrelated charges for the previous three days. Kendall has a court appearance scheduled for next month.
