Ten presidential candidates will appear on the ballot for Vermont’s presidential primary this year, following the last-minute filings of Democrat Hillary Clinton, Republican Mike Huckabee and Liberty Union party candidate Brian Moore.

All three filed petitions with the Secretary of State’s office yesterday for the right to be on the ballot for the March 4th election.

Also expected to be on the ballot are Democrats Barack Obama, John Edwards and Dennis Kucinich and Republicans Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney, John McCain and Ron Paul.

House Speaker Gaye Symington and former Gov. Madeleine Kunin submitted petitions on Sen. Clinton’s behalf to the Secretary of State’s office, which stayed open on the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday because it was the deadline for the filings.
