Independent gubernatorial candidate Anthony Pollina says he and his wife have about $656,000 in financial assets.

That includes their Middlesex home, rental property, family businesses and investments.

Pollina released his financial data Tuesday following financial disclosures from incumbent Gov. Jim Douglas and Democrat Gaye Symington.

Douglas and his wife have about $2 million in assets.

Symington last week showed personal financial assets of $373,222 but she declined to release financial data on her husband, Chuck Lacy, an entrepreneur and former president of Ben & Jerry’s Homemade Inc.. The move has drawn criticism from the Douglas campaign.
