Police in northwestern Vermont are searching for a suspect who robbed the Chittenden Bank branch on Main Street in St. Albans.
Police say the male suspect entered the bank at about 9:45 a.m. Monday. He showed a knife and demanded money, which was turned over without incident.
The suspect then fled on foot. He was last seen near Brainerd Street.
Anyone with any information about the robbery is asked to call the St. Albans city police or the Vermont State Police.
