Vermont State Police plan to continue their search Friday for a missing kayaker.
Twenty-four-year-old David Holcomb of Wardsboro was kayaking with a friend on the West River Thursday afternoon when both kayaks capsized. The other man was able to make his way to shore.
Holcomb’s kayak was found two miles down river.
Police say neither kayaker was wearing a life jacket.
Police and rescue crews suspended their search at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
