Vermont State Police say they’re now investigating nine apparent drive-by shootings in Orleans County in recent weeks. There have been no injuries, but lots of rattled nerves in rural northern Vermont.

From November 21 through this Monday, three churches have been hit, three homes, a vehicle, a country club and even the Vermont State Police barracks in Derby.

The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has joined the investigation, and authorities are requesting the public’s help in solving the crimes.

Seven of the shootings have occurred in Derby, with one each in Coventry and Newport.
