Police on opposite sides of New Hampshire believe they have cracked burglary rings.

Police are holding two men they believe are responsible for 24 burglaries in Dover, Rochester and Somersworth and police in Maine are checking whether the same men pulled burglaries in their state.

On the other side of the state, in the Connecticut River Valley, two men are charged with a string of a dozen or more burglaries over the last two months in New Hampshire and Vermont.

Along the Vermont-New Hampshire border, police say 21-year-old Kyle Lescord of Walpole and 16-year-old Kyle Haley of Bellows Falls, Vermont, were arrested Saturday as they tried to break into a tire store in Bellows Falls. They were charged in a string of burglaries on both sides of the border.
