Vermont State Police are investigating the death of an Alburgh man.
Grand Isle County sheriff’s deputies were asked to go to the home of Richard Burgess last week to check on his welfare.
They found his body pinned underneath a piece of farm equipment.
Investigators told the station they believe the death happened several months ago.
Investigators believe the death is not suspicious but an autopsy has been ordered.
