Police say a 52-year-old Brattleboro man has been identified as the person who died after riding his bicycle into a brook-going off a section of road washed out by flooding from Tropical Storm Irene.
Police say Anthony Doleszny’s body was found around 9:30 Sunday morning in Whetstone Brook.
Investigators believe he rode his bicycle around several barricades on Williams Street and fell into a washed-out section of the road and into the water.
His identity was released by police Monday night.
