A 56-year-old Burlington woman is safe after being found by a Vermont State Police trooper several hours after she had become lost in the mountains of Cambridge.
Police say Dianne Garen used her cell phone to call for help late Saturday night almost six hours after she had car trouble.
Police say Garen was not dressed for being in the woods.
Searchers found her about a mile from where her car was parked.
Garen was carried from the woods by Cambridge Rescue.
She was taken to Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington where she was treated for non-like threatening injuries.
