Because of the continuing rainfall, the town of Plymouth has requested that residents in low-lying areas relocate to safe areas.

Plymouth was one of the 13 towns that were completely cut off from rest of the state after Tropical Storm Irene.

Tom Harris is Town Moderator and communications liaison to the Plymouth incident command.

When Neal Charnoff spoke with Harris earlier this afternoon, he said getting away from low-lying areas is good advice.

The town is hosting a community supper at the Tyson Church tomorrow night for residents and cleanup volunteers.
