Patriots fans in Vermont will be able to see Saturday’s historic game against the Giants on regular TV, afterall.

NBC and CBS will both air the game in addition to the NFL Network.

The simulcast of the NFL Network feed is a major concession by league officials, who repeatedly said they would not show the game anywhere but on their network. But the NFL has faced mounting pressure from politicians, including Vermont Senator Patrick Leahy and Pennsylvania Senator Arlen Specter who had threatened to reconsider the league’s antitrust exemption if it didn’t make games available to more viewers.
