The new Vermont-based owners of the Steamboat Springs Resort in Colorado plan some improvements. Tim and Diane Mueller of Ludlow say they’ll be spending $10 million on Steamboat in the next two years.

The Muellers own Okemo Mountain Resort in Ludlow and operate Mount Sunapee Resort in New Hampshire. Their Triple Peaks company purchased Steamboat for $91.4 million last week from American Skiing Company.

The Muellers plan to split their time between Vermont and Steamboat.
