Outpouring Of Support For Owner Of Burned Barn

When word got out earlier this winter that Pete Johnson’s barn burned to the ground, there was an immediate outpouring of community support to help him rebuild.

Johnson is the owner of Pete’s Greens in Craftsbury, and he says he was humbled by the campaign to help him recover.

That support included funds raised from a public auction, a concert by members of the Vermont band Phish, and even proceeds from a beer in his name created by the local Rock Art brewery.

Johnson said all that attention and help was great and gladly accepted, but also made him feel a little uncomfortable:
