A new poll shows that Barack Obama is gaining ground in New Hampshire.

The Concord Monitor poll shows the Democratic nominee with 50 percent to 43 percent to Republican John McCain.

The poll was conducted by Research 2000 in Maryland of 600 likely voters in New Hampshire.

In a previous Research 2000 poll done a little less than a month ago – before the three presidential debates – Obama had 48 percent, McCain 44 percent.

The sampling error was plus or minus 4 percentage points.
