Congressman Peter Welch announced $341,000 in federal funds for Norwich University’s nursing program yesterday.
The money was secured in the last year’s appropriations bill, with the help of Senators Patrick Leahy and Bernie Sanders. It will be used to help build new nursing station labs that the school.
Norwich University has pledged to match the funding, and hopes to have construction work complete by this fall.
