In Northfield, residents have formed a new to celebrate and promote their community.
At a recent select board meeting, members of the group known as GO Northfield discussed the need for improving communication between the municipality and the public, improving business opportunities and marketing community events and local services.
The group also discussed expanding transportation options and making improvements to the park system and other community spaces.
GO Northfield is currently working on a community calendar that will list upcoming events in town, as well as a brochure with information about the community, the school system and Norwich University.
