U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius says New Hampshire will get financial relief under the federal stimulus bill to offset the cost of Medicare prescription drug coverage for people who qualify for both Medicare and Medicaid.

Sebelius estimates the relief will total more than $14 million. The financial break is retroactive to October 2008 and extends for the rest of this year.

Sebelius says the funds will help New Hampshire and other states provide health services without breaking their budgets.
