As New Hampshire looks at ways to increase revenue, the state lottery is revamping its marketing plan to focus on the Internet instead of television and radio ads.

New Hampshire Lottery Commission spokeswoman Maura McCann says the lottery’s $3.4 million marketing budget doesn’t stretch as far as it used to. As a result, the focus is shifting to the Internet, with a more user-friendly Web site planned for this summer.

The lottery also has increased its efforts to collect e-mail addresses for customers and potential customers as a way to advertise.
