Governor Peter Shumlin says he doesn’t plan to actively campaign until Labor Day, because he’s too busy working as governor. But that doesn’t mean Shumlin will be out of the public eye for the next ten weeks. The New England Central Railroad will be getting an upgrade. Two organizations have filed a lawsuit against Pinnacle Foods Group, saying that the company’s labeling of genetically-modified and synthetic foods as "all natural" violates the Vermont Consumer Protection Act.
