Vermont has won a $5-million dollar federal grant to improve the way it collects information from schools throughout the state.

Governor Peter Shumlin says the Cabot Creamery is a Vermont company and should use the state’s name on its label.

Governor Shumlin says he doesn’t plan to actively campaign until Labor Day,  but that doesn’t mean he’ll be out of the public eye.

A group of South Newfane residents who call themselves the Rock River Revival Project are helping Mother Nature with recovery from Tropical Storm Irene.
