The Vermont State Police and Department of Mental Health say they’re stepping up efforts to collaborate in responding to people in mental health crises. July 4^th isn’t typically one of the busiest holidays of the summer for Vermont’s hotels and bed and breakfasts, but this year the 4^th falls on a Wednesday. That means there’s even more room than usual at the inn. Army worms are on the march in Vermont. The grass-eating caterpillars have damaged corn and hayfields in the northern part of the state. The Vermont Veterans Home in Bennington has finished a large-scale geothermal project.
