Governor Peter Shumlin says Quebec Premier Pauline Marois is committed to improving the rail connections between Montreal and New York, including the line through the Green Mountain State. In New Hampshire, Governor Maggie Hassan faces questions from the House and Senate budget committees about her proposed two-year spending plan for the state.
