Lyme disease – a bacterial disease which is spread by tick bites – is getting attention at the Statehouse this week. A national commission has voted to deny accreditation for nursing programs at Southern Vermont College, and the college is planning to appeal. South Burlington police have re-opened a section of Williston Road following a crash involving a tractor-trailer that sent 2 people to the hospital.
