The Nuclear Regulatory Commission says the Vermont Yankee plant is doing a good job overall in protecting public health and safety. Governor Peter Shumlin is expressing doubt about whether Vermont should pass a bill requiring special labeling for food that’s genetically modified or contains genetically modified ingredients.
