The Vermont Senate has approved sweeping changes to the end-of-life choices bill, voting narrowly in favor of a single amendment that would give certain immunity to doctors who prescribe lethal drugs. The President of the University of Vermont is asking the Legislature to approve a proposed $1.2 million for financial aid and scholarships for in-state students at the school.
