Vermonters may soon know more about two new political action committees trying to influence election outcomes in the state. Public safety officials have given conditional approval to the state’s first two medical marijuana dispensaries — one in Burlington and the other in Waterbury. Twenty-five people are scheduled to become U.S. citizens today during a ceremony on the steamship Ticonderoga at Vermont’s Shelburne Museum.
