Vermonters are helping their northeast neighbors recover from Hurricane Sandy. Vermont law enforcement officials are heading south to help with security efforts in storm-battered New Jersey. The election is just a day away. In Vermont, the closely watched contests are the down-ticket races. But Secretary of State Jim Condos says official results in those races might not come for weeks.  For many recreational riders of all terrain vehicles, the season is winding down. But a controversy is revving up in Barnet about whether to continue to let ATVs use some town roads.
