A long-time critic of the Vermont Yankee nuclear plant is to testify before the state Public Service Board, if plant owner Entergy Corporation doesn’t succeed in blocking that testimony. An iconic Brattleboro building that was gutted by fire two years ago is moving closer to making a comeback. The Vermont Brewers Association has given a $20,000 grant to the University of Vermont’s Extension Program for hops research.
