Governor Peter Shumlin today is restating his prediction that the Legislature will pass a bill that would allow terminally ill patients with less than six months to live the ability to request drugs from their physicians to end their lives. The Vermont Public Service Board is beginning a new round of technical hearings on the future of the Vermont Yankee nuclear plant. Budget writers in both the Vermont House and Senate are inviting the public to a hearing on spending priorities for the fiscal year that begins July 1.
